Zeus the Greatest Dane!

The second furkid to grace our family was Zeus ... At a year old Emmie was in need of a playmate she loved her playdates with my friend's dogs but needed a sibling.. I was working at Petsmart then and they brought in this goofy 1 year old Dane that had HOD and other probelms( like no manners) in to be groomed. I loved him on the spot... He was available for adoption so my husband came to see him and loved him too we had to wait two days to process the application and behind another family that had wanted him to.. they were long days but then he was ours !!!!Zeus has taught me alot about what can happen to a giant breed that is fed incorectly as he has premenant damage as a result of being grown too fast and having the wrong kind of diet... He was fed puppy food until just before he came to us at a year old !.. Great Danes should not have puppy food!!We did alot to turn him around and feel very lucky to have him in our lives ... !
